What is the Carte culture?
It’s a cultural service that automatically benefits all students who have paid the Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC) and those who are exempt. The current-year's sticker, which is stuck onto the Pass Campus (student card), gives access to the benefits of the service.
Preferential rates in over 80 venues, all over Alsace:
An original programme throughout the year on the various campuses and in partner cultural establishments: concerts, shows, cultural villages…
No need to go looking for it: the Pass Campus is also the Carte culture!
How to get it
All students who have paid for, or are exempt from, the Student and Campus Life Contribution automatically benefit from this cultural service, which is run by the cultural services of the Universities of Strasbourg and of Haute-Alsace.
At the university, the 2025-26 sticker, stuck on your Pass campus, gives you access to the benefits of this service.
Practical information, partner venues, programmes and registration for the Carte culture workshops can be found at: carte-culture.org

Further information:
The Cultural Workshops are organised by the Office for Cultural Activities (Service universitaire de l’action culturelle – Suac) and offer the opportunity to discover or refine an artistic or cultural activity through 30 hours of classes, enabling second- and third- year undergraduates to obtain three credits as part of their optional courses (UE libres).
These workshops provide classes led by professionals working independently or in partnership with the establishments within the Carte culture scheme.
La Pokop, co-managed by the Office for Cultural Activities and the CROUS cultural service, provides a year-round programme of shows, concerts, theatre, performances, cultural projects, and so much more, designed for students, at the heart of the Esplanade campus.
